Seven candidates are running for three open seats in the November 8 St. Michael-Albertville School Board elections.
Two incumbents, Drew Scherber and Carol Steffens, are vying to return to their seats. Doug Birk occupied the third seat up in this election until a few weeks ago, when he resigned from the school board to take a position on the school district’s administrative team.
Five new candidates will join the incumbents on the ballot: Kari Dwinnell, Joan Keiner, Tom Polinceusz, Brian Reinbold and Hollee Saville.
North Wright County Today will be contacting the candidates in the coming weeks and highlighting them in future articles.
