Mike Schoemer, founder of Left Margin Media LLC and Editor of North Wright County Today, has more than 15 years of experience in local news.

The creator of St. Michael Patch, Schoemer earned his stripes at the West Fargo Pioneer near Fargo, N.D., where he was also the managing editor of the Fargo-Moorhead Magazine and a contributing writer to Midweek.

He was also a community editor in Edina and managing editor in Monticello, MN.

His award-winning writing has appeared in the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, the Huffington Post, Associated Press and USA Today.

He resides in Albertville with his wife and three children.
