Forte Music Academy in Albertville held its first recital Saturday, Nov. 22, just six months after opening its doors.
With 30 students performing in the recital at Connect Church in St. Michael, the reaction from the parents of the students and guests that attended has been very positive, said owners Brad and Lynn Cedergren.
“The response from the parents and guests was very uplifting and made all of the hard work that the students and instructors put into this recital very much worth it,” said Lynn, who servers as director of Forte Music Academy. “We’re already looking forward to our next recital in the spring.”
Forte Music Academy, along with other local businesses, such as Kremer’s Toy & Hobby, are holding a toy drive for the Hanover Food Shelf’s “Caring for Kids”toy program. Drop a toy by any time between now and mid-December, and the donations will benefit families here in the area.
Forte Music Academy is located at 11011 61st Street NE, Suite 130, Albertville, next to Kremer’s Toy & Hobby.
