St. Michael-Albertville High School will host its annual Prom Night Saturday, April 26, with Grand March at the high school gymnasium and the prom dance at the Lafayette Club on Lake Minnetonka.
This year’s theme, according to prom adviser Kaitlin Sebens, is “Are You Ready to Be Enchanted?”
Tickets are $38 each for the dance, or $76 per couple. They are available from Prom Committee members and at the high school office. Guest forms (dates from other schools) must be filled out and approved by a high school administrator. They are available at the high school office.
Grand March will be held at 4 p.m. Students should be on site in the STMA Activity Center prior to 3;40 p.m., when couples will be lined up according to their number.
Those attending Grand March should arrive at the high school gym early. Cost is $1, with proceeds being used toward next year’s prom.
The Prom Dance will begin at 9 p.m. at the Lafayette Club, located at 2800 Northview Road, Minnetonka Beach, MN, with a DJ, appetizers and beverages served at the dance. Students will not be admitted after 10:30 p.m., and those who arrive and then leave will not be let back into the dance, per school policy.
Tim Zahler Photography will be on hand to take pictures at the dance. Order forms for photos will be available via the high school office, at lunch or at the school office.
Deadline for registration for Grand March is Thursday, April 10.
