Funeral services are now in place for the St. Michael-Albertville hockey coach who died after suffering a head injury in a fall last month at STMA Arena.
Family members and friends said Harv Graczyk died from a blood clot, possibly a complication from his injuries, while recovering at a Twin Cities hospital last weekend. He was 67, and a volunteer/coach with the STMA Hockey Association for more than 40 years.

Harold “Harv” Alan Graczyk, 67, of Albertville, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. He was born August 25, 1951 in Robbinsdale, the son of Celand and Arla (Tadych) Graczyk.
On Wednesday, November 19, 1975 Harold Graczyk and Bonnie Munger were united in marriage at St. Mary’s of the Lake in Plymouth.
Harv coached youth hockey for Osseo and STMA for 45 years and won coach of the year multiple times. He was an A.A. mentor and softball hall of famer. He also enjoyed horseback riding, walking his dog, and spending time with his family –especially his grandchildren.
Harv was a faithful member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a devout Catholic. His life gave witness to His deep love for Jesus.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Arla Graczyk.
Harv is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Graczyk; children, Blake (Marie) Graczyk, Heather Graczyk (Ash Hopkins), Hollie (Joshua) Danis; grandchildren, Miah, Myles, Lillie, Michael; father, Celand Graczyk; siblings, Gary, Kevin, Marlene; dog Kerrick; numerous Godchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. Burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Corcoran.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
