The trio of Rogers High School students who were the struck by a pickup truck this morning as they attempted to board a school bus have been identified by the Wright County Sheriff’s Department. The students injured in the crash are Greta Jenson, Beckett Olson and Ian Orina, who are all 15 years old and residents of Otsego.

The trio of victims have been listed in critical condition in the Wright County Sheriff’s report, and they all have been transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center. KARE 11 (NBC) news has reported that HCMC listed Jenson and Olson in critical condition, with Orina in serious condition.
All three are students at RHS. The ISD 728 School District stated earlier Thursday counselors would be on hand for students Friday after a crisis team was on hand to help staff and students Thursday. Students are being updated of their fellow classmates’ status, as well, in accordance with family wishes.
The 22-year-old driver of the pickup truck is a man from Lexington, Minnesota, and he has been arrested and booked into the Wright County Jail on Criminal Vehicular Operation charges. In the case where there is criminal vehicular operation resulting in great bodily harm, the perpetrator may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than five years or to payment of a fine not more than $10,000, or both.
