Another new daycare center is opening soon in St. Michael. The former home of ABC Childcare has sat vacant for the last several years, but the center received a breath of fresh air when owners Mike and Roxane Kesselhon decided to open up a second location of their Neenah, Wisconsin based Discover Little Miracles Child Care Center.
“We are in St. Michael all the time visiting our daughter Melissa and her family so it only makes sense to open a second location to care for children in this area,” Roxane explained.
This will be the couples’ second child care facility. The two have been in the childcare business for almost 25 years. Roxane started her Early Childhood Career in 1992 and opened her first State-Licensed home center in 1993. Mike joined Roxane in the business in 1999. They opened Discover Little Miracles Child Care Center in Neenah, WI in 2005.
“The center will be managed by Jenny Murphy, who has a degree in early childhood adult care and education from St. Cloud Technical College,” Roxane said. Murphy, originally from Clear Lake, now lives in Monticello with her husband and two children. She was formerly a teacher at ABC Childcare before staying home with her children.
Discover Little Miracles is expected to open sometime later this month. You can learn more about their enrollment openings and costs on their Facebook page.
“Discover Little Miracles is a family owned business and we look forward to getting to know families in St. Michael.”
