The St. Michael Catholic Church goes back to its roots this weekend, as it does each fall, with the annual Fall Festival.
But it’s a set of wheels that might steal the show.
Formerly known as the St. Michael Parish Festival, the event has truly become a fall festival because of the community involvement, according to organizers, particularly over the last decade.
This year’s event will be no different, as the two-day celebration will include everything from a traditional Sunday services to German food and chicken dinner. And, of course, the pretzels – nearly everyone’s favorite – are back (and lye-free!).
All events take place on the St. Michael Catholic Church grounds (11300 Frankfort Parkway NE), with action kicking off at 2 p.m. Sunday and wrapping up with a huge raffle drawing at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13.
