Summer events kick off tonight at the St. Michael-Albertville-Hanover Library in the St. Michael City Center.
Here’s a look at June:
Paul Spring Concert – June 17
Join singer/songwriter Paul Spring in a celebration of summer reading at the St. Michael Public Library at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17. His concert is recommended for ages 3 to 12, and will be enjoyed by parents and children of all ages. His album “Home Of Song” has been described as an ode to books and stories, and to the families who nurture them. This program is funded in part by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Wendy’s Wiggle, Jiggle Jam – June 20
Wendy will bring her Wiggle Jiggle Jam show to the St. Michael Public Library on Saturday, June 20, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This popular show is for children up to age 10. Wendy is a school music specialist who developed music based programs that inspire children to move, create and listen. Attendance is limited and registration is required. It is funded in part by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Making Music Mondays – June 22
Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to enjoy a music making activity at the St. Michael Public Library on Monday, June 22, during library open hours 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Children will make a musical instrument out of household objects while supplies last. This activity is sponsored by the St. Michael Friends of the Library.
