Buffalo Hospital Foundation announced it will award 10 scholarships to students in Wright County who plan to pursue health care careers in their post-secondary education. Buffalo Hospital Foundation continues to support local youth and encourages more students to enter the medical field professionally.
The Foundation will give a total of 10 $750 scholarships this year to a student from each of the nine local school districts, as well as home-school or private school students. Students must meet the following selection criteria:
- Students must be pursuing a health care degree
- Acceptance at either a two or four-year secondary education institution for Fall of 2015
- Previous volunteer, work or life experiences in health care
- Home-school or private school student must show proof of residency in Wright County
There will also be three additional scholarships from the Wright County Area United Way that will be awarded to students from the Buffalo, Monticello or St. Michael-Albertville area. This scholarship is open to all public, home-school and private school students in these areas.

Eligible school districts are: Annandale School District #876, Buffalo, Hanover, Montrose #877, Dassel-Cokato School District #466, Delano School District #879, Howard Lake/Waverly School District #2687, Maple Lake School District #881, Monticello School District #882, Rockford School District #883 and St. Michael-Albertville School District #885.
