Corinne A. Dehmer, who farmed with her husband, Herbert in the St. Michael-Frankfort Township area for decades, died last Sunday, Dec. 14 at CentraCare Health in Monticello. She was 86.
Corinne was born to Emil and Cecilia Demars in Albertville back in April of 1928. She married Herbert in 1948 at the Church of St. Albert, and the two started a family that included a dozen children, 41 grandchildren and 28 great-gandchildren.
She is survived by all 12, so many of whom still reside in this area, including Monticello Township: Donald (Beverly) Dehmer, David (Karen) Dehmer, Kathleen (James) Goeb, Roland (Liz) Dehmer, Ralph (Sally) Dehmer, Steven (Joyce) Dehmer, Paul (Karen) Dehmer, Janice (Steve) Anderson, Anita (Dennis) Lenneman, Lee (Carey) Dehmer, Allen (Synde) Dehmer, Clarice (Steve) Kessler.
Services for Corinne Dehmer were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at the St. Michael Catholic Church, with visitation last Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to Saturday’s service. She will be buried in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, St. Michael.
Corinne was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; parents and one grandchild, Chad, as well as nine brothers and sisters-in-law.
Marlene Kessler, 77, St. Michael, also died Dec. 14 at CentraCare Hospital in Monticello.
Marlene was married to John Kessler and also farmed with him in the Frankfort Township area for decades.
Marlene was born to Matthew and Laura Weber in Minneapolis, and married John in 1957 at St. Walburga Catholic Church in Fletcher.
The two had seven children, with two dying in infancy.
Services for Marlene were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at St. Michael Catholi Church, with visitation held Thursday, Dec. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Marlene will also be buried at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, St. Micahel.
She is survived by her children, Steve (Clarice) Kessler, Kris (Gordy) Goodin, Julie Kessler, John (Lisa) Kessler, Jr., Susan (Dan) Lish; grandchildren, Cory, Emily & Devin; Katie (Tyler) Johnson, Keith, Andy; Logan, Aiden, Jacob & Elizabeth; sister, Pat Kessler; sister-in-law, Phyllis Weber.
Shes preceded in death by her husband, John, as well as infant son, John, a daughter, Beverly, a brother, Gene and her parents.

Sarah Cecilia Kasper, 101, Albertville, died Friday, Dec. 19 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids. She’s survived by two daughters, Rita (Tom) Fay and Jean (Billy) Lightfoot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Kasper.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sarah will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 at the Church of St. Albert in Albertville. Visitation is today, Dec. 22 at 4 p.m. at the church, as well as one hour prior to the Mass.
