Ramp to Eastbound Interstate 94 Closes in Albertville as County Project Continues

Contractors for Wright County continue to make progress on the reconstruction and reconfiguration of County Highway 37/137 in Albertville in Otsego, as the next phase of work begins today, Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

This morning, the I‑94 eastbound ramps to and from County 37 in Albertville will be closed. The westbound ramps will remain closed as well, except for a temporary bypass to 62nd Street Northeast and the area west of Lymon Avenue (just west of the granite countertop manufacturing site).

Construction for the second season of the County Highway 37/County Road 137 project began April 13. Work is progressing through the planned stages: Stage 1: MacIver Avenue roundabout construction (completed in 2025); Stage 2: County Road 137 construction from the westbound I‑94 ramp to east of Lymon Avenue (late-April to mid‑July 2026); Stage 3: I‑94 ramp construction to/from CSAH 37/Co. Rd. 137 (late-May to early-August 2026) with traffic detoured to the County Highway 19 interchange.

Access to local businesses remains open via temporary bypass lanes. For ongoing updates, please visit the project website at www.cr137.com. If you have questions or concerns during construction, contact the helpline at info@wright137.com or call (763) 260‑5702.
