Video: Twin Cities Television Chopper Captures Wright County Storm Damage

July 7, 2016 By Mike Schoemer

Dozens of customers are still without power in northern Wright County after a July 5 storm brought more than 80 m.p.h. winds and heavy rain to the area, along with some small hail.

The good news: Wright County Highway 19 is open between St. Michael and Hanover, as are major roadways like Hennepin County 116 and County Highway 101 near Rogers.

The bad: There is still a massive cleanup project ahead, as you can see by the video taken by KSTP Channel 5’s helicopter, “Chopper 5.”
