Two former Albertville Friendly City Days candidates decided to kick off a St. Michael program because they enjoyed the process and program so much in 2015 in Albertville.
“I really enjoyed being part of the program and even though I wasn’t chosen I knew I wanted to stay involved,” Kennedy Molitor, an STMA grad and sophomore at University of Minnesota Duluth said last week.
Kennedy and her friend Heather Heyerman, a sophomore at North Dakota, joined together and began candidate season for 2016 already.
There are six candidates for Miss St. Michael and seven candidates for Junior Miss St. Michael and one candidate for Junior Commodore.
