The Farmers Market, open since mid June, is coming to life. About a dozen vendors are now on hand offering their products for sale, with early crops including radishes, greens, early tomatoes, cucumbers and other fresh produce.
Next week, the Lions will be sponsoring a car show on July 14th. The Lions are expecting more than 20 classic cars to be on display, according to organizer LeRoy Berning.
Each week, the Lions sponsor Live Music and offer concessions for sale Thursday.
Support the local Lions and local growers and stop by the market located in Central Park in downtown Albertville just off Main Street. The Farmers Market is open every Thursday through September from 3 to 7 p.m. For information regarding the market, contact Leroy at 763-497-3019.
