St. Michael-Albertville Grad Spending Two Years on Mission

August 13, 2014 By Mike Schoemer

Jason Colgrove, son of Lori and Nathan Colgrove of Saint Michael, left in July for a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

First traveling to Provo, Utah, he will receive missionary training and basic Spanish. Colgrove will then report to Saltillo, Mexico where he will spend the next two years preforming community service and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Jason is a 2014 graduate of Saint Michael Albertville High School and been accepted at Brigham Young University in Provo which he will attend upon the completion of his mission.

This isn’t the family’s first experience with sending young men out on missions. Dad (Nathan) served a mission in Australia, and an older brother is presently serving in Colorado.
