Ever heard the story of the guy who showed up at 11:30 a.m. Sunday for 10:30 a.m. Mass services?

Daylight Saving Time started on March 12, in case you’re curious. It will start again next year on March 11, 2018 at 2 a.m. sharp.
The fire chiefs from St. Michael and Albertville fire departments remind everyone that when it’s time to change those clocks, it’s also a great time to check the batteries in your smoke detectors.
Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors need fresh batteries at least once per year, and the perfect time to remember to see if those batteries are still working is when you’ve been shuffling around the house, changing all those clocks you forgot you had.
Remember – smoke detectors and CO detectors save lives!
