Warm air bringing in temperatures in the 90s and high dew points is sparking warnings for the metro area, including all of Wright County.
Communities within the seven-county metro area are facing “Excessive Heat Warnings,” according to the National Weather Service office in the Twin Cities, while St. Michael, Albertville and areas west are in the “Heat Advisory” from 11 a.m. to midnight today, July 21.
A cool front behind this heat wave should bring more moderate and even cool temperatures (relative to July) for the rest of the week, with a high of just 78 set for Wednesday and low 70s returning early next week.
