The Albertville Lions will be sponsoring the Sixth Annual Albertville Farmers’ Market this year, located at the Lions Shelter in Central Park just off Main Avenue in downtown Albertville. This year’s series will offer a couple of new twists, including a consistent craft/vendor show each month, along with the monthly car show and live music.
More than 25 vendors offer their products for sale at the market, and all are from Albertville and the surrounding area.
The market is a great opportunity for area residents to get fresh produce from local growers, the Lions said, and also offers a variety of food related products. Plus, at the Albertville Farmers Market, customers are able to shop under a covered shelter out of the rain and in the shade.
The market will run from 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday from June 19 (tomorrow) through Sept. 25. This year the Lions will be sponsoring a Car Show on the fourth Thursday of each month. starting in July. The Lions will also be sponsoring a Vendor/Craft Fair on the second Thursday of each month starting in July. There will be live music every Thursday, and shoppers can enjoy brats, hotdogs, chips, refreshments, and other concessions.
