The St. Michael-Albertville-Hanover Public Library, operated by the Great River Regional Library system, is hosting a handful of September events aimed at kids around the area.
Face Painting by All About Fun – Sept. 6
Celebrate the St. Michael Open Streets event on Saturday, Sept. 6 by getting your face painted in the St. Michael Public Library parking lot from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All About Fun’s celebrated face painters will paint faces on a first come, first served basis. This activity is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
R.E.A.D. to Taurus – Sept. 13
Children in grades K-3 are invited to Read to Taurus at the St. Michael Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 13, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Taurus is a certified Reading Education Assistance Dog, and will listen patiently while children read out loud. Children may sign up at the library desk to spend 15 minutes reading with Taurus.
Teen Advisory Meeting – Saturday, Sept. 13
Teens are invited to a teen advisory meeting at the St. Michael Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 10:30 a.m. Help to plan the library’s teen events. Join the group for coffee, donuts and thoughtful discussion about library programming.
