The National Weather Service in Chanhassen has issued a tornado watch for Wright County, effective until 9 p.m. Thursday, May 8.
Radar showed a strong line of thunderstorms moving into Wright County shortly after 3 p.m.
More storms are expected throughout the afternoon and evening hours, with some that could be severe.
