A power outage Monday, Dec. 17 was no problem for Fieldstone Staff, as the school day proceeded without interruption for much of the morning.
Teachers and staff “made do,” thanks to a sunny day outside that let in lots of natural light, as well as the school’s generator, which provided some warm air.
“Throughout the power outage staff were working closely with Xcel Energy and actively monitoring the situation to ensure student and staff safety. The school day was not interrupted by this incident,” the District said in a statement Monday morning.
Xcel reported the power was interrupted around 10 a.m. and crews had the power restored before noon.
