Put this one in the “major oops!” category – St. Michael-Albertville School District has corrected its course on the final day of classes for its more than 6,300 students.
The district’s printed calendar has Thursday, May 31 as the final day of student contact (class), and June 1 as a workshop day.
The final day of school for students IS, in fact, Friday, June, 1.
The school district, led by Dr. Ann-Marie Foucault, sent out this letter to parents today:
Greetings,
There is an error in the blue district calendar mailed to all families and community members. The blue district calendar incorrectly lists the last day of school. The last day of school for students is Friday, June 1. The last day for teachers is Monday, June 4. A link to the calendar on the district website is http://www.stma.k12.mn.us/
