Services are set this week for both an Albertville teen who died last weekend and the matriarch of one of St. Michael’s oldest names.
Noah Adam Waldoch, 2002-2017
Noah Adam Waldoch, 14, of Albertville, died Friday, March 10, 2017. He was born December 26, 2002, the son of Adam Waldoch and Nicole (Holmes) Waldoch-Hunter.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, with a prayer service and time of sharing at 7 p.m. at The Peterson Chapel, 300 Main Street North, St. Michael. Funeral services for Noah Waldoch will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017 with visitation one hour prior at Revive Church, 7849 West Broadway, Brooklyn Park. Interment at Mound Cemetery in Brooklyn Center.
Casket bearers will be Noah’s STMA Baseball Teammates: Aaron Loch, Jacob Nyhus, Evan Freeland, Blake Lorentz, Hayden Huber, Bryce Swiatkiewicz, Davis Moseng, Logan Femrite, Alex Novelli, Jack Hulting, and Kai Cummings.
Noah was an eighth-grader at Middle School West and played on the baseball, football and basketball teams. His greatest passion was playing baseball with his teammates on the AA travel team. Noah loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. In addition to his sense of humor, his many talents included drawing, inventing and playing poker. Noah enjoyed his annual trips to Grand Marais and visiting Grandpa in Texas. He embraced his role as big brother to his three younger sisters and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mary Ann Lindenfelser, 1931-2017
Mary Ann (Scherber) Lindenfelser, 86, (formerly of Aitkin and Otsego, MN), St. Michael, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at The Legacy in St. Michael.
Visitation for Mary Ann will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., both at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael/Albertville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16 at with visitation one hour prior to the mass at St. Albert’s Catholic Church, 11400 57th Street NE, Albertville. Luncheon to follow at church.
A private family interment will be held at a later date in the church cemetery.
Mary was referred to by many as “Mother Mary”. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Her Grandma Mary juice was a big hit with the grandchildren. Mary enjoyed sewing, cake decorating, quilting, Bingo, casino gaming, playing dominoes, board games and cards, especially cribbage. She also gained satisfaction from her flower gardens, watching the birds and deer, and observing the action on and around the lake. Mary was the touchstone of her family, always gathering information and passing it on so family members would be kept abreast of any family news.
Mary’s family wishes to thank the staffs of St. Croix Hospice and The Legacy of St. Michael for the loving care shown to their mother, Mary Ann.

Robert “Bob” Bonner, 1934-2017
Services for Robert “Bob” Bonner, 82, St. Michael are set for 2 p.m. Friday, March 24 at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, Rogers. A full obituary is pending.
Vernon John Berning, 1924-2017
Vernon John Berning, 92, St. Michael passed away on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 at his residence.
Vernon farmed in the STMA area for many years. He was a collector of guns and many other items. Vernon was an avid trap shooter in the 1980’s and his team won the state championship. He also captured the singles shooting championship for Minnesota.
Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Aaron William Olson, 1970-2017
Aaron William Olson, 46, Otsego, died Sunday, March 5, 2017. He was born April 12, 1970 in Minneapolis, the son of Willard and Janet (Kadlec) Olson.
Aaron was a 1988 graduate of Park Center Senior High School in Brooklyn Park. Following graduation, Aaron joined the US Army and served as Military Police for eight years and served in “Operation Just Cause” in Panama. Aaron received his Graphic Design Degree from Hennepin Technical College and was currently employed with EPG Media in Plymouth, working on Thunder Press.
Services for Aaron Olson were held last weekend in St Michael.
