It’s not easy to see by looking at the current clinic name, but the Albertville-St. Michael Clinic is part of the same clinic group as the Monticello Clinic and the Buffalo Clinic.
Though the Albertville location opened in 2007, the clinic group has been serving the area for over 65 years. The long-standing desire to link these three facilities with a common name has led to a rebranding effort, where all three clinics will now be known as Stellis Health.
“Stellis comes from the Latin word for stars – and like stars, we watch over all of Wright County and beyond,” Douglas Hanson, CEO of Stellis Health, said. “We wanted to more closely connect all our locations so it’s clear we work together to provide comprehensive care to all our communities.”
New signage will appear on the exterior of all three buildings, but Stellis Health said the physicians and staff inside would remain unchanged. The clinics provide primary care as well as specialty care in areas such as podiatry, diabetes, medical skin care and more.
“We want patients to know that they’ll be in good hands with us, whichever one of our clinics they visit,” said Jason Halvorson, family physician and president of Stellis Health.
