St. Michael and Albertville’s annual Spring Clean-up Day is set for 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, May 6, at the Public Works facility near Recreational Park at 3150 Lander Avenue NE in St. Michael.
Otsego will be hosting its Clean Up Week from through today, May 5, (business hours during the week and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily), at the Metro Appliance and Recycling Facility.
Also, Rogers and Hanover will be hosting Clean Up Day 2017 on Saturday, May 20.

St. Michael and Albertville
Residents – no contractors are allowed – must show identification and must be from St. Michael or Albertville. Hazardous wasted, such as paints, stains and chemicals, will not be accepted.
Cost of a level pickup box or small trailer, filled to the top of the box, is $40. Large trailers and piles level with the pickup cab is $60.
Individual items, such as grills, box springs, recliners and couches, may cost extra if not part of a load.
Bikes, car and marine batteries, chainsaws and used oil and antifreeze may be brought in at no charge. The bikes are donated to a local program for kids.
The Salvation Army will also be on hand this year to pick up clothing items residents might wish to drop off.
No lawn clippings or brush will be accepted at this time. However, the compost sites at both the St. Michael Public Works building and off McAlister in Albertville are open to residents at this time for drop off.
Otsego
Bring your items to Metro Appliance and Recycling – 16403 60th St. NE – during business hours through Friday, May 5. A detailed sheet can be found here, online.
Residential appliances can be dropped off for just 10 bucks. Electronics will be charged per pound (including tube TVs). Staff will also accept stuffed chairs, couches, wood furniture, batteries, tires, bulbs and phones. Scrap metal will be collected for no charge.
Otsego will not be accepting paint, oil, antifreeze, gas ammonia refrigerators (camper fridge) yard waste or general trash.
Rogers
Rogers annual clean up day will be held at the public works building, which is just east of Kohl’s/Target in Rogers. Drop off will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 21. Must show proof of residence.
The city will collect appliances, tires, electronics, air conditioners, water softeners and much more at a charge. Televisions larger than 26 inches will be 20 bucks, with smaller TVs taken for a fee.
The city will also collect newspaper, metal waste, drained oil, CFL bulbs and fluorescent bulbs, car batteries, household batteries and much more.
Items NOT accepted include copiers and fax machines, household hazardous waste and paint or yard waste.

Hanover will also host its Clean Up Day Saturday, May 21 in the morning at the Public Works area near the city park. Check with the city for more information.
