A Wednesday afternoon accident at the intersection of Central Avenue (Highway 241) and Lincoln Drive has sent at least one person to a local hospital.
Wright County Sheriff’s Deputies, Allina Ambulance, the Minnesota State Patrol and St. Michael Fire and Rescue were all on the scene of the crash, which involved two vehicles and locked down westbound Central Avenue at around 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 6.
The scene of the accident included a pair of fallen street signs after the two vehicles appeared to collide near the intersection, sending a small SUV down the median and then eastbound into the westbound lane.
Names and vehicle makes/models will be released at a later time. The conditions of the hospitalized persons in the vehicles were unknown.
