During the evening on December 10th, about 30 Girl Scouts got together to sing holiday carols for the local seniors at the St. Michael Legacy. After the singing the seniors and the Girl Scouts enjoyed cookies and juice as well as making a craft together. The Girl Scout HAT program (Hands Across Time program) creates a way that girls can fill the communication gap between generations. The girls that participated had fun getting to connect with the elderly citizens in their community. For girls interested in joining Girl Scouts go to www.girlscoutsrv.org/join-us/
