Open House next Thursday

Guests will learn about detours, traffic plans, see design layouts and tentative schedules, and ask questions directly to MnDOT and city of Buffalo project staff.
About this project
Work will begin in late July 2015, and will be complete in October 2016. The project will:
- Reconstruct and improve Highway 25, local utilities, motorist and pedestrian accessibility, and overall safety
- Widen and install dual-turn lanes at the Highway 25/Highway 55 intersection
- Construct a new roundabout at Highway 25/8th Street North
- Install a new signal system at Highway 25/14th Street North
The projects will require lane closures and detours. Accesses to businesses will be maintained and open!
Detour begins July 29, south of Highway 55 in Buffalo
The city of Buffalo will work mainly on Highway 25 from Second Street North to Second Street South this year. Highway 25 will close to through traffic and detour between Highway 55 and First Street South in Buffalo, beginning July 29. Please follow signs, expect changes and drive with caution through the work zone.
