Girl Scouts from the Crow River Service Unit got up early every morning for four fun filled days of camp. Girls of all ages from the area got outside and had a blast this June at the annual day camp themed “Round of apPAWSse.” Girls made crafts and learned new skills, such as bird house building and painting, as well as making a variety of jewelry. Animals such as a turtle, dog, snake, and an opossum were also present at the camp for girls to hands on learn about animals and how to take care of both pets and keep animals safe in the wild. Everyone made new friends and had lots of fun all week long. I’m sure they cannot wait until next year! For girls interested in joining Girl Scouts go to www.girlscoutsrv.org/join-us/
