Next month Miss Albertville Ambassador Christine Lenneman will travel to Minneapolis to participate in the Minneapolis Aquatennial Candidate Program and pageant. Christine will spend some busy days capped by the 76th Anniversary Queen of the Lakes Coronation at 4 p.m. on Saturday July 25th at the Ted Mann Concert Hall on the University of Minnesota campus.
During her stay in Minneapolis some of the activities Christine will experience include private parties, a ride in the Aquatennial Torchlight Parade, boat rides, private viewing of the legendary Target Fireworks and “Meet the Candidates” scheduled from noon until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22nd at City Center.
Candidates will also participate in several judged interviews. The judging panel bases their ambassador selection in several areas including poise, communication skills, accomplishments and personality. C
hristine attends Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota where she studies International Business.
Christine is passionate about theater. One of Christine’s greatest accomplishments was creating a Theater Club in which over 130 students have participated in over the past two years, creating an opportunity for kids to be inspired by the arts.
It’s been a fun‐filled year for the daughter of Brian and Angela Lenneman. Christine’s favorite part of her reign as Miss Albertville Ambassador has been promoting the city of Albertville, establishing connections in other communities and meeting new friends.
Christine was selected as a 2015 Miss Albertville Ambassador in 2014. Christine’s year as a Miss Albertville Ambassador will come to a close as she participates in the Minneapolis Aquatennial celebration and competes for the title and crown
