Fire Calls: Medical Calls and Accident Have SMFD and AFD on the Go

A return to the weekly fire call roster.

St. Michael Fire and Rescue and Albertville Fire Department crews responded to the following incidents:

St. Michael and Albertville Fire Calls – May 28 to June 7

Albertville Fire LogoThe St. Michael Fire Department responded to a mutual aid fire call in the 10000th Karston Avenue NE in Albertville.

The department responded to a medical call in the 500th block of Summerlin Road NE for a 73 year old with mental issues.

June 1
SMFD responded to a medical call on the 11000th block of 16th Street NE for a 42-year-old female having chest pains.

June 2
Albertville Fire responded to a car accident in the 6500 block of Laketowne Place in Albertville. A car had struck a building. The Department was cancelled prior to arrival.

June 3

SMFD responded to a medical call in the 300th block of Hillcrest Drive SE for a 68-year-old female with chest pains.

June 4

The department responded to a medical call in the 5000th block of Quale Avenue NE for a female with a possible broken leg.

The department responded to a medical call in the 3000th block of Lander Avenue NE for a 6-week-old hit by a baseball.

June 5
AFD responded to an unknown medical in the 11000 block of 57th St NE in Albertville. The Department was cancelled prior to arrival.

SMFD responded to a medical call on the 15000th block of 45th Street NE for an overdose.

June 7
AFD responded to a medical in the 14100 block of 62nd St NE in Otsego. A male was found unconscious and was transported to the hospital.

June 9
The SMFD responded to a fire alarm call in the 600th block of 5th Street SW.  It was a false alarm.

The SMFD responded to a fire call in the area of 45th Street NE and Parson Avenue for a tree arching on the power line.

The SMFD responded to a medical call in the 4000th block of Oakwood Parkway NE for a 2-year-old vomiting with a high fever.

The department was dispatched to Station 1 for a severe weather watch.

June 10

The SMFD responded to a medical call at the intersection of Highway 241 and Naber Avenue NE for a 54-year-old male feeling light headed.
