Tealwood Senior Living, the operators of the Legacy at St. Michael, has recognized three local employees for their hard work in serving the senior community here.
The trio was honored by the group earlier this month.
Joel Hoglund- Customer Satisfaction:
Joel joined The Legacy of St. Michael in June 2014 as our Maintenance Director. Since his arrival, Joel has become a fast friend and trusted employee to our tenants and his coworkers. Joel is responsible for the facility upkeep, maintenance, and vendor relationships here at The Legacy. The nominations he received stated:
“I really appreciate how Joel just gets things done. If a job or task is asked of him, it’s completed and I don’t feel like I need to check up on it. I think the tenants appreciate how he follows up in a timely manner as well. He also always assists with events whenever needed.”
Josh has been part of The Legacy family since February 2014 working as a cook. Josh quickly gained a reputation as having a heart of gold and tour tenants adore him! Not to mention he is a wonderful cook. In addition to being recognized as a great teammate and cook, Josh was recently promoted within Tealwood and will be stepping in to the role of Dietary Manager at our sister facility in Delano. Some words about Josh:
“Josh is always willing to help others and puts others first. He never complains, is the first to help and last to leave. He will go out of his way to help everyone and expects nothing in return. He’s very pleasant.”
Tonya Johnson- Quality Caregiver
Tanya has been a HHA at The Legacy of St. Michael since November 2013. Tanya has an infectious smile and always has a great connection with her tenants and coworkers alike. She has proved to be a great mentor to our newly hired staff and can always be counted on for her positive attitude. She brings great ideas and a willingness to try new things. As one of our tenants states:
“Tanya always has a smile on her face and is willing to help with whatever is needed. She does her work efficiently and is considerate of the tenant’s belongings.”
