SOAR Arts Academy will hit the main stage at St. Michael-Albertville Middle School West again later this month, this time with its winter show “101 Dalmatians: Kids.”
The production centers around, of course, the story of a loving home in the city of London, where Dalmatian parents, Pongo and Perdita happily raise their Dalmatian puppies. Everything is grand until the monstrous Cruella De Vil plots to steal them for her new fur coat! Join all the dogs of London, as they daringly rescue the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.
SOAR – which stands for St. Michael, Otsego, Albertville and Rogers – has quickly become one of the fastest-growing youth theater and stage academies in the northwest metro, and is fresh off their holiday fundraising concert last December.
The stage production of “101 Dalmatians” will be Friday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, March 1, with shows at 7 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are available in advance by visiting SOARArts.com, or on the day of the program.
