The Albertville Lions and the FYCC (Family Youth Community Connections) of Albertville and St. Michael are teaming up for a new Christmas event.
The Lions will host a “Christmas Tree lighting” in the park on Sunday, Dec. 7, with the festivities set to begin at around 2 p.m. in the Central Park in Albertville.
There will be activities in the park, with details still being ironed out. The day will culminate at 5 p.m. when the new, permanent Christmas Tree in the Lions area of the park will be dedicated and lighted up for the holidays.
Refreshments will include s’mores, hot chocolate and some snacks. There will also be a fire pit for those who need to warm up from the cold.
