The Hanover Lions Club will be hosting the annual spring clean-up on Saturday, May 17th from 8 a.m. to noon in the Hanover City Hall parking lot. This event will be held rain or shine.
Fees will depend on load sizes, and it is requested the residents have the loads sorted prior to drop off. Feel free to call City Hall at (763)497-3777 for pricing info.
For those with Hazardous Waste, Hennepin County will be hosting 10 events where household hazardous waste can be recycled. Follow this link to see additional information for the events.
Residents with compost, including branches and brush, can use the St. Michael Compost Facility near the public works building. Hanover residents are allowed to bring their compost/yard waste to the St. Michael Compost Site, 3150 Lander Avenue NE. Residents are allowed to bring leaves, grass clippings, and other vegetative material. There is also a brush pile for branches. Residents are also allowed to pick up compost for their personal use. Spring/Summer/Fall hours run through Dec. 1. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, including weekends.
