Demetrius Aaron Atchison, 19, of Buffalo, sentenced on April 11 for Gross Misdemeanor Receiving Stolen Property to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 335 days, $2,800 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $200 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.
Keith Alan Baker, 40, of Rockford, sentenced on April 18 for Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree to a stay of execution for five years on conditions of probation, serve 120 days jail, undergo a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, obtain permission before leaving the state, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, complete cognitive skill training, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced for Probation Violations for Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree to 126 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.
William Frank Borscheid, 31, of Buffalo, sentenced on April 11 for Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 350 days stayed for three years on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, attend Awareness Panel for Impaired Drivers, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, remain medically compliant, serve 60 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Decker, Mitchell Keith, age 26, of Buffalo, sentenced on April 14 for Probation Violations for Misdemeanor Careless Driving to 10 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Strand.
John Clement Kochis, 46, of Elk River, sentenced on April 11 for Misdemeanor Violation of an Order for Protection to 90 days jail, $500 fine; 80 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order/no contact order, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no same or similar violations. Rick Mathew Krantz, 30, of Otsego, sentenced on April 17 for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $500 fine; 355 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, complete a Level I driving program, attend MADD Panel, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, have no same or similar violations.
