For all of its accolades, including the rights to the title of “Largest Youth Program in Minnesota,” the St. Michael-Albertville Youth Wrestling program had never done one very big thing – take home a state championship in the K-6.
Until now.
The Knights snapped a seven-year streak by Kasson-Mantorville and took home the program’s first-ever NYWA title in Rochester, held April 3 to 6.
