MnDOT is now warning commuters and travelers of an imminent delay on Interstate 94 through St. Michael and Albertville on Wednesday, March 6.
The work was originally slated to be done Monday, but was delayed.
Drivers on Interstate 94 through Albertville and St. Michael should watch for slow or stopped traffic while both directions of the road are intermittently reduced to a single lane Wednesday, March 6, beginning at 7 p.m.
The closures will be complete by 10 p.m. that night.
Lane closures are needed while crews take soil boring samples to prepare for a project that will reconstruct and improve three segments of I-94 between Maple Grove and Clearwater in 2019-2021.
