The STMA Rotary Club and Shop Saint Michael are pleased to announce St. Michael’s 7th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration, 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at St. Michael City Center, 11800 Town Center Drive NE, St. Michael.
This festive event will include performances by STMA High School’s music students, free photos with Santa, holiday stories read by Friends of the Library and local Rotarians, a children’s craft activity sponsored by Family Youth Community Connections (FYCC), and a special holiday craft sale featuring the handiworks of Crow River Senior Center members. Free sandwiches, chips cookies, bars, and punch and coffee will be served while supplies last. The free event will include a toy and children’s book drive for the Hanover Area Food Shelf. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy or children’s book.
The tree will be lit by St. Michael-Albertville’s very own “Holiday Cheermeister,” LeRoy Berning. Nomination forms are available at Shop Saint Michael businesses, City Hall, and at www.stmarotary.org. The Holiday Cheermeister will be selected by Shop Saint Michael and STMA Rotary and announced in mid-November.
