Meet a local hero Saturday, Oct. 6 when the St. Michael Fire Department hosts its annual open house at the station on Main Avenue South from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be tours of the station, some educational materials, trucks on display for kids and adults and some good food.
There will also be a bounce house, a chance to learn more about the Fire Explorer Program and a spray house to train future SMFD members.
