Wright County Highway 34 to See Detour West of Hanover

Construction of a roundabout near the Buffalo Airport will move traffic north to County Highway 35.

July 12, 2018 By Mike Schoemer

The Wright County Highway Department is planning construction of an intersection improvement at County Highway 34 and County Road 134 in the City of Buffalo, near the Buffalo Airport.

The construction improvements will consist of the construction of a modern day roundabout to improve safety and traffic flow through the intersection. The construction project will begin the first week of August 2018 and it is anticipated that it will be completed by the end of September 2018, weather permitting.

Fehn Excavating, Inc. of Albertville is the prime contractor that will be doing the work, and a detour route will be posted to direct traffic around the work zone. Please see the map for a view of the detour route (in green).

Please follow the posted detour signing to navigate around the work zone. We appreciate you adjusting your driving schedule accordingly while this important transportation project is constructed.
