Ever drive by a construction site and think, “Wow, I’d really like to check out the inside of that bulldozer!”
If the thought has crossed your mind, or if you’re a parent of young children, there’s a great event planned for you Tuesday, July 24.
FYCC of St. Michael-Albertville and the Great River Regional Library in St. Michael are teaming with public works departments, fire departments and businesses from the STMA and Hanover area for a “Touch a Truck” event, starting at 10 a.m. and running through about noon.
The event will be held in the parking lot of the STMA-Hanover Library, adjacent to St. Michael City Hall in Town Center.
Public works vehicles, tractors, and fire trucks, ambulances, golf carts, and payloaders will all be on hand. Heck, if it’s on wheels, it will probably be here.
Join the library staff for a quick story time, then head outside for some fun.
This event is free and open to all kids of all ages.
