Looking to jump off County Highway 19 (Labeaux Avenue) and use River Road to cut down to Hanover?
Better think again.
The City of Hanover announced Thursday, May 24 that grading and preparation work will be done on River Road over the holiday weekend.
The road will be closed in Hanover from Eighth Street Northeast up to 11th Street Northeast. Crews are asking that no one travel on this section as the grade has been finalized for paving next week. Please take an alternate route.
The project is part of a citywide construction plan. More information can be found on the City of Hanover website.
