Residents flocked to Highway 241 (Central Avenue) in St. Michael Saturday night as the State AAA Champion St. Michael-Albertville High School wrestling team made its way back to the city.
Also on board was 126-pounder Patrick McKee, who captured his third straight state championship and finished an amazing, undefeated season at 52-0. McKee set the record for wins in a season at St. Michael-Albertville, a pretty lofty accomplishment for a school that has produced dozens of state champions and Division I wrestlers.

The Knights defeated Anoka (ranked No. 2) and Shakopee (ranked No. 1) to win the school’s first outright Class AAA championship.
