School board members have a full agenda on their plate for this week’s meetings, with discussions on next year’s budget, a possible change of athletic conference (more on that coming soon), reviewing the superintendent’s performance and more. School board members put a significant amount of time into their work, and this week communities around the state are thanking their local board members with School Board Recognition Week.
“It takes strong schools to build a strong community, and these men and women devote countless hours to making sure our schools are helping all schools learn at a higher level,” superintendent Dr. Ann-Marie Foucault said. “They make tough decisions every month and spend many hours studying education issues and policies in order to provide the kind of accountability our community members and parents expect.”
The school board members currently serving the STMA district include: Kari Dwinnell, Jeff Lindquist, Jennifer Peyerl, Drew Scherber, Hollee Saville and Gayle Weber.
