Fans of St. Michael’s farm-to-table restaurant are going to have to wait a bit to toast 2018 at the popular eatery.
Main Street Farmer Eatery posted on social media Tuesday, Jan. 2 that it will be closed until midweek next week due to a sprinkler malfunction at the building, which is located at 21 Main Street South, near the intersection with Central Avenue in the heart of St. Michael.
“The Team @ Main Street Farmer are heavy hearted to inform all of our supporters and guests that the restaurant will be closed until mid week next week.
The restaurant experienced a sprinkler malfunction causing water damage which must be repaired before we can reopen.
Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused our reservation holders and our regular guests.
It’s a hard way to start the New Year, but all the staff is healthy and we will be working towards opening for another successful year next week.
MSF Team.”
Main Street will post updates via its Facebook page to keep fans posted of when the restaurant will re-open.
