Wright County Sheriff’s Deputies and Hennepin County Sheriff’s Department officers are investigating a fatal crash in Hanover on the Wright County Highway 19 bridge over the Crow River.
The crash occurred Wednesday, Dec. 27, shortly before noon. The bridge was closed throughout the afternoon Wednesday, opening in time for 5 p.m. rush hour traffic. Investigators spent much of the day reconstructing the accident.
According to reports, the crash involved two vehicles at the intersection of Rosedale and 109th Avenues. Three adults were treated by Hanover Fire and Rescue at the scene, with one adult male transported to a Twin Cities hospital. He was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The two other adults were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of those involved in the accident have not bee released.
