The Jolly Old Elf himself will make an appearance at several locations around the St. Michael-Albertville area during this holiday season, with the first visit coming up tomorrow. Here is a line-up of different Santa visits and other holiday celebrations in STMA:
Sat. Nov. 15 and Sun. Dec. 17: Albertville Premium Outlets will host Santa Claus and his reindeer from 1-3 p.m.
Sun. Dec. 3: The 4th annual Christmas in the Park will take place at Albertville City Hall park, right behind City Hall, from 2-6 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will arrive by reindeer at 3 p.m. The tree lighting takes place at 5:00 p.m., and there will also be carolers, a bonfire, hot beverages and s’mores. The free event is sponsored by Albertville Royalty, the local Cub Scouts, FYCC and the Albertville Lion’s Club.
Mon. Dec. 4: The St. Michael Rotary Club is hosting St. Michael’s annual tree lighting ceremony from 6-8 p.m. at St. Michael City Hall. The event will also feature Santa and Mrs. Claus, carolers, crafts for kids, snacks and beverages. The event is free of charge.
Dec. 10, 16 and 17: Kremer’s Toy and Hobby will have Santa Claus in the store from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Kremer’s will have a numbering system so children and their families can browse the store until their number is called rather than waiting in line.
