The Albertville Lions are hosting their final weeks of the annual Farmers Market at Central/Lions Park in Albertville, and tonight they’re spicing things up with some music and hot rods.
The first ever Albertville Cruis-In is set for 3:30 p.m., with music on tap for the evening and the market from 3 to 7 p.m. next door in the shelter.
Tonight’s car show/cruis-in is a free event for spectators and cruisers, organizers said. All are welcome.
Highlights will include “The World’s Nuttiest DJ,” “Chopper,” and music from the Rockn’ Hollywoods at 8 p.m.
Dinner will be on sale, which includes grilled meats, pulled pork sandwiches and more. The Albertville beer trailer will be on hand (for those over 21), with other beverages also available.
This event is rain or shine, though the clouds are supposed to hold off tonight in Albertville.
“This is a Cruisin,” the Lions said via a message to NWCT, “no trophies, no judging, no time limit, bring what you’ve got, old, new, or just cool, have a cold one and listen to some great music.”
